Details of Projects commissioned under JNNSM:
1. 25 kWp Solar Power Plant at Sub-District Hospital, Moreh, Chandel District.
Location of installation – Sub-District Hospital, Moreh, Chandel District.
Brief Note – The Sub-District Hospital (50 bedded), Moreh is the only Govt. Hospital present in the district of Chandel which caters to a large number of patients residing in the border town of Moreh including the patients from remote areas of Chandel. Due to acute power shortage in the whole State of Manipur resulting in erratic power supply with load shedding, it is causing hardship to the District Hospital to function properly with the availability of Power. The Emergency Ward/Casualty Ward at times uses candles/emergency lamps which is potentially unsafe. The main benefit of the project will be availability of power supply at critical locations of the Sub-District Hospital like Emergency Ward/Casualty Ward etc. Moreover, with the implementation of this Solar Power, uninterrupted power supply is available at the Blood bank of the hospital which stores reserve supply of blood for emergency.
2. 25 kWp Solar Power Plant at District Hospital, Churachandpur, Churachandpur District.
Location of installation – District Hospital, Churachandpur, Churachandpur District.
Brief Note – The District Hospital (100 bedded), Churachandpur is the only Govt. Hospital present in the district of Churachandpur which caters to a large number of patients residing in even from far flung areas of Churachandpur.
The main benefit of the project will be availability of power supply at critical locations of the Sub-District Hospital like Emergency Ward/Casualty Ward etc. Moreover, with the implementation of this Solar Power, uninterrupted power supply is available at the Blood bank of the hospital which stores reserve supply of blood for emergency.

Location of installation – District Hospital, Thoubal, Thoubal District.
Brief Note – The District Hospital (100 bedded), Thoubal, Thoubal District. is the only Govt. Hospital present in the district of Thoubal which caters to a large number of patients residing in the border town of Moreh.

4. 25 kWp Solar Power Plant at State Academy of Training, Takyelpat, Imphal West.
Location of installation – State Academy of Training, Takyelpat, Imphal West.
Brief Note – The State Academy of Training, Takyelpat, Imphal West is an Institute where a large number of Officers/officials and staffs of Government Departments undergo training related to their respective Departments at different times in a year. Due to power shortage, the Academy rely on Diesel Generators during the training. So, due to rising diesel prices and sound pollution created by the running gensets, the Academy opted for a long term power reliability by implementation of 25 kWp Solar Power Plant at State Academy of Training. The energy obtained from the plant is clean energy with uninterrupted availability making the trainings hindrance free.
5. 7 kWp Solar Power Plant at MANIREDA office, Imphal West- With the implementation of 7 kWp Solar Power Plant at MANIREDA office, it has become independent of Grid connection. All the office and electrical equipment run on the energy obtained from this plant.
6. 5 kWp Solar Power Plant at Chingphu, Imphal West for Solar Powered Obstruction Lamps required for Night Landing facility at Imphal Airport.
7. 5 kWp Solar Power Plant at Nomaiching, Imphal West for Solar Powered Obstruction Lamps required for Night Landing facility at Imphal Airport.
8. 5 kWp Solar Power Plant at Heibokching, Imphal West for Solar Powered Obstruction Lamps required for Night Landing facility at Imphal Airport.

12. 25 kWp (each) Stand alone type SPV Power Plant including 5 years CMC at all the 9 offices of Deputy Commissioners of Manipur.
